The founding fathers helped create an experiment in liberty nearly 240 years ago; an experiment that was based on natural laws and personal freedom. Over time, the charters and schematics that expressed their intentions (to create a land free from foreign and domestic oppressors – the inalienable right to be left alone) have been gathered and should occasionally be glanced at as a reminder of what it’s all about. With the advent of the Internet, it is increasingly easier to locate the proper “schematics”, or resources, that this nation’s founders have left behind for us.
Have you ever stopped to think what Thomas Jefferson would have thought about today’s Executive Branch of government? Or Ben Franklin, or James Madison? Would John Adams have been a critic of the modern day Supreme Court? Would they have endorsed FDR, W., or Obama? Does any of this really matter?
Whenever the nation is tested and falls upon trying times, informed people realize their personal freedoms have slowly been eroded; usually under the guise of collective prosperity.
The intent of this site is to locate newsworthy events and reflect on them through the eyes of a fan of liberty and the constitution.
